FLAG AKINATOR
Privacy policy
How Flag Akinator handles information about its users.
1. Operator
The Flag Akinator operator runs this website. Please use the contact page for questions about this policy.
2. Information stored on your device
We store games started, country-name guesses, correct answers, identified countries and territories, and the selected difficulty in browser local storage. These play records remain in your current device and browser and are not sent to the operator’s database. You can erase them by clearing the browser’s site data.
3. Access information
For delivery, stable operation, security and abuse prevention, hosting providers and related services may record IP addresses, access times, browser and device information, referrers and requested URLs.
4. Contact information
Enquiries are handled through the shared ABELHA WORKS contact form. The name or nickname, email address, subject and message are stored in the ABELHA WORKS Firebase project and used to review and reply to enquiries, investigate issues and prevent abuse. Except where required by law, they are not provided to third parties for unrelated purposes.
5. Google AdSense and cookies
The site uses the third-party advertising service Google AdSense. Google and other third parties may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver ads based on visits to this and other websites, measure effectiveness and prevent fraud.
Advertising cookies used by Google and its partners may enable interest-based advertising. You can manage personalized ads in Google’s ad settings. See Google’s explanation of data use on partner websites for further information.
6. Consent management
Where consent is required by law or Google policy, including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform is used to explain purposes for cookies and personal-data use and provide options to consent, refuse or change settings.
7. External services
Firebase is used for hosting and data management. The site also links to external reference materials. Each service’s handling of information is governed by its provider’s policies.
8. Access, correction and deletion requests
Requests concerning personal information held by the operator are handled appropriately under applicable law after identity verification. Since the operator does not obtain device-local play records, users must erase them through their own browser settings.
9. Revisions
This policy may be revised as services, operations or applicable laws change. Important changes will be announced on this page.
Japanese policy established August 27, 2026; last updated September 24, 2026.
