The principles of this educational site and how its content is handled.
Purpose
We provide opportunities to learn about countries and territories by asking questions about flag colors, patterns and geography. We aim to make deduction and flag history enjoyable, not just the final answer.
Information and editing
Public information from Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, international organizations, national governments and other reliable sources is organized for the game. Where origins have multiple explanations, we avoid presenting one as certain. The Japanese editorial policy provides details.
Flag images and names
Flags, coats of arms and territorial flags may be subject to local laws and usage conditions. Images are used for identification and learning, not to imply endorsement or affiliation with any country, territory or organization. Those reusing an image should check applicable laws and its distributor’s conditions.
Copyright
Unauthorized reproduction and redistribution of the operator’s original text, layouts, designs, characters and programs are prohibited. Quotations must comply with applicable copyright law, clearly identify the quoted material and link to its source page.
