EDITORIAL POLICY
Editorial policy and sources
We value clear explanations and source checking so that children and adults can explore flags with confidence.
Checking the content
Country and territory names, capitals and regions use public data. Initial organization of flag colors, symbols and explanations has also used AI. The administrator checks images and reference material and makes corrections. Reviewed indicates that administrative check, not accreditation by a specialist institution. Where origins are disputed, we avoid presenting one account as certain. General country reference links are distinguished from primary sources supporting specific comparisons.
English origins and stories are based on the edited Japanese text. A source-change check prevents an outdated translation from silently being presented as current after the Japanese description changes.
